Taste of IRB

TASTE OF IRB 2008:

Plans are underway for this year's Taste of IRB. The event Nov. 8th, will be in Chic-A-Si park.

Presently we are filling our vendor spots. Last year's participants will have the first opportunity to reserve a booth.

The booth fee is $100 plus a $25 gift certificate from each participating food vendor. Each restaurant will collect and keep all the money they earn during the event. If you are interested in participating, please email us now to hold your spot. Last year's event sold out, and we expect this one to sell out by August.

If you would like to be part of the planning committee, please email us!. As we get closer, we will also be looking for volunteers to sell tickets, sell beer and wine and to help with parking.

Last year's event was a huge success. See the photos below of all the fun

TASTE OF IRB 2007:

Thank You
Indian Rocks Beach!

The first annual Taste of IRB was a huge success. Over 1500 local residents turned out to enjoy a great evening full of food, music and fun. We want to thank all the event sponsors - Century 21 Beggins our main sponsor also provided many volunteers that were ready to fill in wherever needed through-out the evening, USA Grocers donated $1200 dollars of wine, and then served the wine all night, Crabby Bills sponsored the Beer Truck, and Cuso's Cantina provided the band.

The City of Indian Rocks Beach employees did an amazing job setting things up. They made sure everything ran smoothly, the garbage was emptied regularly and all the restaurants had power. We also want to thank all the volunteers that served beer, directed traffic and sold tickets! We couldn't have done it without you! Our Participating Restaurants Included: Guppy's at the Beach, Kooky Coconut, Al & Stella's, The Pie Factory, My Place, Salt Rock Grill, Marlin Darlins, Red Lion, Pajano's Pizza, William Dean Chocolates, Surf & Turf, Crabby Bills and Brewmasters

Other Food Vendors Were: The Suncoast Fire Department who sold 5 different types of their Firehouse Chili (proceeds went to charity) and The Beach Community Food Pantry sold water & soft drinks with all the proceeds going to their local food bank

Other Local Business were: Sweet Pea Organics, A Therapy Above, Island Surf Shop, Impressive Designs & Florida Wines, Rupunzels, Holistic Medicine, the IRB Welcome Center, and The IRB Rotary, who sold out of their SuperBowl Raffel tickets
