2012 Boat Club Photos

2012 – What a great boat year we had!

End-of-Summer Island Party

Saturday, September 22nd, 2012

What a way to usher out the summer…with great weather, good food, the best partiers in all IRB (important designation), a wonderful sunset and, for the first time this year, live music (special thanks to the Peter Hill Band!) on an island away from it all! If it gets any better, we don’t want to know about it!

Fourth of July Island Party

Wednesday, July 4th, 2012

Oh say can you see what a great time was had by all 50 who celebrated Independence Day on One Tree Island. At dusk, most of the 11 boats in attendance relocated closer to the Clearwater Causeway for the big show in the sky.

No text necessary. The pictures tell the story of what a great day was had by all enjoying the wonderful fare and hospitality of the Salt Rock Grill!

Spring Coastal Clean-up

Saturday, March 10th, 2012

So much trash…so little time! Members of the IRB Boat Club set out to clean up as much of the Intracoastal Waterway as possible. The effort, which happens twice a year, is spearheaded by Club President Bob Griffin. Our group adopted the small island at the end of IRB as our personal island and has taken responsibility to keep it clean on a regular basis.

2012 Boat Club Trip to The Pub

Saturday, January 28th, 2012

If the Boat Club’s first outing of the year at The Pub is any indication, we’re off to a great year. Thanks to the staff at The Pub for a great time and to the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for providing free safety checks for our members! Great docks, wonderful weather, tasty food and beverages. Does it get any better?
